Joy In Christ

  • "Christ came to bring joy; joy to children, joy to parents, joy to families and friends, joy to the sick and elderly, joy to all humanity. In a true sense Joy is the keynote message of Christianity, and the recurring motif of the Gospels. Go therefore and become messengers of joy." -Pope John Paul II

I could have written your post! I know exactly what you are going through. Good luck with the doctor and don't forget to mention "headache-free migraine" to him/her. That's what the tingling arm was for me (although I've had many other symptoms).

And I also know about husbands who stick with us through it all. Mine's that wonderful rare gem too.

Glad things are improving!

I went through the same struggles. I had a post partum depression 4 years ago. Big family and everyone and everything came 1st.When I went to confession the priest said Love God 1st, yourself and then you can love your neighbor as yourself.I have aso experienced the numbness and the tingling. I put off finding out about it for 3 years. Turned out to be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It makes your arms and back shoulder area numb and tingly. You can go to a neurologist for a nerve conduction test to see if that is the problem. I went to physical therapy 2 times to be fitted for a brace to wear at night,if I wear a couple of nights the symptoms are usually releaved for a couple of weeks. I have exercices too,but need more discipline to do them. Be patient with yourself and I als recommend you find a prayer to st. Joseph to lead you and your family in thiers and your vocation. It has done wonders for us and aided given us fortification in our homeschool and given me peace for the kids future vocations. Lean on little devotions.

Please do take care of yourself, Michaela. It is hard though, isn't it?
