Several of us Motivated Mommas ;-) on the 4Real board, have decided to be accountable to one another with our exercise and healthy eating goals. We are starting small by focusing on one month-at-a-time to not feel overwhelmed.
I figured I should be able to give up Pepsi for one month, 100 sit-ups a day, and get outside to walk.
Today, I decided to walk around our favorite lake here in town. It's paved, and exactly one mile around, making it perfect for my older three to ride their bikes while I push Teresa in the stroller.
Teresa enjoyed adding to the challenge by not wanting to sit in her stroller. I actually spent a large portion of the walk, pushing the stroller with her on my shoulders.
My goal was to complete 2 miles.
She wasn't interested in the fact that momma needs to lose 25 more pounds!
The absolutely beautiful day and this view kept me going.
There was a time when I could run 2 miles nonstop, but it looks like my children have to turn around to give me a chance to catch up now. Hopefully, I will be able to jog around this lake again!
It's always fun to stop and visit the ducks, and there were quite a few ducklings to see.
Bye-bye!
